I finally hung up my new wind chimes a couple months ago. Im planning on getting many more. I am inspired by all the different things you can turn into wind chimes. I am inspired by the sounds they make from the wind. Its like putting audio to the wind.

When i went swimming last week, i mentioned it was in a river. They had this little beach to lay out at. I miss the beach. I love how sand feels different in the water than out of the water. The beach inspires me because there are hidden treasures buried. You can manipulate the sand into shapes and forms. And the color against the ocean water is just perfect.

Went swimming for the first time this year while i was on vacation last week. It was super cold since it was just a river. But it was so nice and much needed. Water in general inspires me constantly. I have done multiple shoots while underwater, or with water. It makes you feel weightless. It gives any ordinary object a texture. And the swim suits are constantly changing. I personally like the old school swim suit look.

On my trip last week, we went boating on some river. I forgot how much i actually enjoyed boating. The wind and the water in my face and all around me. Feeling the current and the waves beneath me. This inspired me to think about the water, the sea, the ocean. About sailing and other nautical things. The water is just another one of mother natures unpredictable things. And a boat on top of that water floating away is sort of a beautiful thing.

My girls went horse back riding for the first time last week while on our vacation to Tennessee. They got to pet the horses too. Horses inspire me because they are very almost majestic in a way. And for one of my daughters horses are very therapeutic for her and that inspires me alot. They are very smart animals, and they can be so beautiful. I personally love there noses.

Went to Tennessee last week for a family vacation. Never actually been there long enough to enjoy the time. Didn’t get much of a chance to see everything. But it is a very down to earth place. A whole lot of country and nature things. Good place to relax. I was inspired by there small towns, landscapes, foggy atmosphere, carved rock roads, and the things there are to do. I would really like to go back sometime soon and experience a little more than i did.

Saw my first set of fireworks the other night for this year! Tomorrow is the 4th so im sure i will see plenty more. I am inspired by fireworks because they are like trees in the sky. Stars that are closer to earth. Explosions of light in the sky temporarily. Fairy dust that falls from the heavens. The ultimate celebration. Its like magic. You can see them from miles away. I remember a long time ago driving down the highway towards downtown in my moms convertible, and everywhere i looked there were fireworks going off. It was so surreal. Im glad I wasn’t driving because I could not take my eyes off the sky!

My friend gave me a bouquet of origami flowers the other day. Origami (and paper crafts in general) inspire me because it transforms from one simple object to an amazing work of art within minutes. Even a color can change the entire work. Sculpting a once flat rectangular piece of ordinary white paper into a winged crane hung by string and tied up over top of your bed. There is so many different things you can do. So many choices. I think it is a great mind thinking craft too.

In the process of buying curtains for my apartment finally. I am getting white lace. I am inspired by how a whole room can be brought together by one little thing. They frame the window so nicely. And there are so many different options and choices.

Every time I go to the Indianapolis Zoo, if the butterfly exhibit is in season, i have to go! It is this giant glass building filled with butterflies flying freely all around you. It is the coolest exhibit i have ever seen so far. Butterflies have always been one of my favorite things ever since i was little. There colors and shapes inspire me. While at the zoo, after i go see the exhibit i must always buy a new framed butterfly for my house. I added two larger ones this time, making my collection look so much bigger! Having the framed butterflies displayed in my home has been another thing i have always liked. Its a nice home decor feature.
